What are humic and fulvic acids?

Humic and fulvic acids improve plant growth: they absorb, transfer and mobilize plant growth promoters in soil thus facilitating absorption of such materials through the roots. Humic and fulvic acids may dramatically reduce water evaporation and increase the amount of water used by plants in soil or during draught.

Humic and fulvic acids help to transport iron to the leaves of plants by chelating thus preventing chlorosis.

Humic and fulvic acids increase harvest, improve plant quality, physical appearance and nutritional value.

First – optimal factor of nutrients effectiveness in soil. Using a big amount of humic and fulvic acids less nitrates are being washed out and root system develops better.

Second – humic and fulvic acids reduce salinization problem. Fertilizers containing NH4 nitrogen – nitrogen toxicity is especially reduced, which is very important for young plants. Humic acids reduce burning of roots, which can occur from excessive concentration of salts (fertilizers) in soil.

Third – humic and fulvic acids are an effective measure fighting against soil erosion. It is achieved by increasing connection of soil colloids and improving development of root system and plants. Plants easier assimilate nutrients from the soil.
